Culture

Culture is one factor that essentially define our beliefs and values which contribute to who we are. Perhaps it give us a sense of what is wrong or right, guiding us at the time of making a decision. Although there are a large variety of cultures all around the world, it definitely define our society as a all. This consent is call culture diversity, meaning that they all are vastly different from one another. Even some cultures can be divided into two they either are a subculture or a countercultures because of their differences. Subcultures are a group of people in a society that have some differences from the dominant group. On the other hand, a countercultures is a subculture that have some opposition of the dominan group.

Who im a?

I was raised in the Dominican Republic even though I was born in New York. The reason of this was because my parents wanted to teach me about their country and culture. Perhaps I did pass a lot of time in both places, which helped me later on when my family moved permanently here. I have an older sister and a brother, who is my fraternal twin. We both are very different but still love each other. My family is vital in my life, they mean everything for me, and without them I wouldn’t be who I’m now.
I’m a very active person who has always something to do. Even though I may look like a shy person in reality I’m a fighter. I’m always defending my beliefs and those who cant also. I believe everything should be done the way it supposes to, what makes me a perfectionist. I'm an open mind person, which makes it easier for me to interact with others. Trying to find a positive side of every negative situation is essential for me because I’m a cheerful person. I enjoy helping others as much as I can, that’s why I want to become a psychologist. One of my main desire is to give back to my community.

Poetry is part of me, it’s my passion. I don’t only write about my self because mostly all my poems are based on others people’s feels. Perhaps I consider my self as the voice of those who can’t express their feelings.
